Years ago, Craig enrolled in the architecture program at Montana State University.
While there, he was introduced to a wide diversity of people and faiths that he had never experienced before.
This diversity exposed the narrow understanding of God that Craig possessed. Craig faced a daunting question, "Does God only love a small, select group of people who believe the right things or does God really love every living person?"
He graduated from Montana State University and immediately enrolled at La Sierra University. While at LSU, Craig was introduced to a wider, more inclusive, and loving God. After a few years, he earned his Masters of Divinity degree.
After a few more years, Craig and the Founding Board established Paradox Church. In 2022, Craig graduated from George Fox University with a Doctor of Ministry. His focus was a film series to help Christians process Biblical Contradictions in a healthy way.
God still regularly exposes the narrow understanding of God that Craig has. And Craig's faith continues to change.
At Paradox, Craig's greatest joy is to walk through life with others as they and he experience the ever-expanding and overflowing excess of God's love.

Hi, my name is Jasmine Bilbao and I'm so grateful to be serving you at Paradox. I have considered this church to be my spiritual home since 2016 and have loved growing with this community. I started working part-time with just social media in February 2021 but now have the creative freedom to do more since working full time in April 2022.
My favorite thing about this church is the community and how everyone can come from different places, backgrounds, and opinions together in worship. I love working with the various teams and brainstorming ideas on how we can all be more loving people.
Some of my hobbies include spending time with my friends and family, doing something active outdoors, and singing.
Thank you so much for giving me the ability to create a space for all of us and for being a part of it! I'm truly grateful to be here.

Hi, I’m Hailey Smith! My family and I have been a part of Paradox since the very beginning, and growing with this community during my teens and twenties has shaped so much of who I am today. I was so excited to introduce my husband, Rory, to Paradox in 2018, and now we get to grow together in this amazing community.
I previously served on the Elder Board and am now honored to serve as the Communications Associate. With over five years of freelance experience in social media, I’ve had the privilege of helping Paradox expand its presence online and connect even more deeply with our wonderful community.
In my free time, Rory and I love to explore new places, try new foods, take our dog, Rotini, to the park, and stay active!
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this role! If you see me at church, come say hello—I’d love to meet you!

Hello, I’m Bobby Stindt and I’m proud to be a member of the community that has grown with Paradox. I’ve been attending this church since basically the beginning, finding a spiritual home here after not attending church for a while. I’ve been involved at the church in many ways since we moved into The Mission.
I started out with Paradox Kids and went on to cleaning up after service, making coffee and preparations for hospitality. When we got back to meeting in person in 2021 I became a camera operator for the livestream. This would lead into me running the livestream as Video Director.
My interests include tech and gaming. I follow some sports such as the NFL, go Broncos! And enjoy watching the LA Kings, Olympics, and the US Women and Men’s National Soccer Teams.
Thank you for tuning into the livestreams and watching the sermons from wherever you may be, allowing us to reach further.

Hello, my name is Brad and I am thrilled to be serving at Paradox! I am a husband to Katie Jo and father to Ella Jo and Kainoa. Both Katie Jo and I grew up in Redlands CA. We met at taekwondo class when we were 7! In high school we started dating and after college we got married. We have two wonderful children who are teaching us the true meaning of “patience”!
I started playing music when I was very young, playing the trombone! My father played guitar and he taught me my first chords when I was in middle school. I was hooked! I attended Azusa Pacific University for music, but felt called to change my direction and ended up graduating with a degree in Christian Studies. After graduating, I spent a year as a youth leader and pastor before changing direction once again to music!
Ever since, I have been blessed to work with many incredible individuals in the music industry and have produced music for artists, labels, tv shows, video games, and churches.
Music directing has always been a passion of mine, as well as assisting in the growth and development of the next generation of musicians. Paradox has been a perfect place and an incredible blessing for me and my family.

Hi! My name is Amelia, I am from New York City, and I have been attending Paradox Church online since 2015. I also have the great fortune of attending in-person when I visit my family in Loma Linda.
I have always been blown away by Paradox’s mission to start important discussions and be an affirming Christian contemporary church.
I’ve also had the pleasure of serving Paradox both online (as part of the Women’s Empowerment Made in Her Image series) and in-person (as a liturgist and hospitality volunteer).
I feel completely blessed and humbled to be part of this amazing team to make sure our online home (this website!) feels as warm, welcoming, and inclusive as our main sanctuary and in-person events.
Thank you for allowing me to serve you in this way!
Church Leadership
At Paradox, we have three official leadership groups. The Elder Board is responsible for the spiritual health and direction of the church. The Trustee Board oversees the finances and the facilities of our congregation. And the Personnel Committee advises the Lead Pastor in staff leadership and resolutions.
